VINCENT JATON
Keyboards - Production, arrangements and programming
Having long plied his trade as a composer, producer and pianist for a whole gallery of artists; arranging and remixing have become Vincent’s particular speciality.
Since 1990, he has worked on an eclectic range of musical projects: as a programmer, a producer and an arranger for a wide variety of artists and bands: MTV Music Europe, Omega Watches, Jazzorange, Massimo Modugno (Italy), François Vé, Sam Frank Blunier, Angel Mena
Four years ago, Vincent co-founded the music production and publishing company Sowatt Music with sound engineer Michel Gallone, who has collaborated in his time with some of the biggest names in the business: The Corrs, Bryan Adams, Shania Twain, Chris de Burgh, Céline Dion, Britney Spears, to name but a few.
In 2003-2004, in a collaboration with Sowatt, Jaton arranged and produced four remixes for singer Shania Twain, including the titles "I'm Gonna Getcha Good", "UP", "Ka-Ching", which were all released as singles to worldwide success.
In 2002, he founded the band FAVARD, and since 2005, he has been working flat out on the project to produce their first album Emotion. But despite this full-time commitment to his own outfit, he has still found the time to produce a number of benchmark remixes and arrangements: Peter Gabriel’s “Shock The Monkey” (Realworld Competition 2006) and a 2007 remix of The Clash’s classic “London Calling” are just two stand-out examples.
